On 25 September, the winners of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2015 will be honoured at the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore. Especially on this occasion, the awardees will fly to the Asian metropolis to receive their certificates and well-deserved awards on stage from Professor Dr Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot. This is the day, when the winners of the Red Dot: Luminary will be announced.
The Red Dot Award: Design Concept started in 2005 as a platform to uncover the best and most advanced design concepts. The competetion has matured to be today’s largest and most prestigious international award for design concepts at a professional level: In this year’s competition 4,680 entries from 61 countries competing in 31 categories were submitted.

With a record number of 2.399 submissions from 73 nations, designers answered the challenge “Genius design for a better everyday.” There were 6 Global Winners: Gold, Silver, Bronze in two categories, 3 Sustainability Award Winners: 2 Students and 1 Professional & Enthusiast, 30 National Winners and 20 Special Mentions.
The members of the jury for the 18th BraunPrize came together in Kronberg, Germany for judging during the week of the 4th of June. After careful consideration, the members of the jury made a selection from the entries submitted.
